Our Mission

HISTORY AND MISSION:

Nucleotron MIT began in 2006 with a purpose of introducing innovative technology, research, and education solutions focused on improving patient outcomes through expanded access to Molecular Imaging.

2006

➣ Nucleotron MIT partners with Bracco Diagnostic to Introduce Cardiac PET using the new Cardiogen-Rb 82 Generator to the South Florida Market.

➣ Nucleotron MIT partners with CIRA to design and operate the first Cardiac PET Facility in South Florida  utilizing the Cardiogen Generator

2010

➣ Nucleotron MIT partners with ABT Molecular Imaging to introduce the BG-75 Biomarker Generator System, and to complete regulatory registration for the equipment, in Latin America

2011

➣ Nucleotron MIT designs, builds and assists in operation of the first BG-75 installation in Latin America

2012

➣ Nucleotron MIT partners with DraxImage-Jubilant to help optimize, register and introduce the Rubyfill Rb82 Generator in Latin America.

2019

➣ Nucleotron MIT partners with GE in the Phase II clinical Trial for Cardiac PET myocardial perfusion imaging using the novel tracer, F18-Flurpiridaz.

➣ Nucleotron MIT partners with a number of global Radio-pharmaceutical and research companies in clinical validation  of novel amyloid and Tau tracers for Alzheimer diagnosis.

➣ Nucleotron MIT partners with Ionetix Corporation to introduce the first NH3 Ammonia production site in South Florida with the installation of the ION 12SC.

➣ Nucleotron MIT formally partners with Ionetix Corporation to introduce the ION 12SC Cyclotron in Latin America.

2020

➣ Nucleotron MIT partners with Ionetix corporation to dramatically expand the utilization of cardiac PET  with the implementation of seven additional Cardiac PET/Centers in Florida, utilizing the innovative ION 12SC system for on-demand Nh3 Ammonia production, with a 5 year plan to implement a total of 150 production sites in the USA

2021

➣ Nucleotron MIT partners with Siemens Medical to collaborate in the development of new clinical and pre-clinical  imaging and post-processing tools in Molecular Imaging.
